Introduced in the mid 1980s, this is the smaller brother of the Le Man 100 pen. The iconic Waterman La Man 200 pen in the Rhapsody Jade Green Ripple pattern  must one of its most beautiful modern fountain pens. The pen is special and unique in many ways; the build quality is extraordinary, made out of thick steel and lacquer finish with all gold filled metal parts, this is a true generation pen. The pattern is unique on each pen, there are no two identical patterns. The pen is very heavy and a true oversize pen at 166mm posted, all of this gives it a unique feel in the hand and writing balance, it makes for a very special writing. The pen's nib is a special similar to the old Ideal's nibs from the 1920's, this nib is hardly changed compared to those of 100 years ago, they are nearly identical both in design but also writing experience. The nib is fully flexible, rare ST Stenographic nib. ST nibs are used for stenography where each stroke matters and where flexibility is needed. This nib will produce amazing writing up to triple broad and even wider. The ST tip is wide and smooth, making the pen glide on the paper effortlessly with constant nice ink-flow. The pen can take any standard ink cartridge and piston converter. Very easy to use, clean and maintain. The pen is in mint condition with minimal signs of use.
