We are proud to offer this legendary Montblanc 149 pen, in pristine condition from the modern era late 2010s, in a rare "White Gold" Platinum plated version. The 149 is the ultimate Montblanc flagship pen, and it must be one of the most recognizable pens in the world, there's hardly any diplomatic/State signing without a Montblanc 149. The 149 model had been around for over 70 years, launched in 1952, and has barely changed its form factor since then.

Made out of the best materials there are, with the ultimate hand craftsmanship as each pen is made by hand, the 149 is proven to be one of the most reliable pens in the world. It's mirror like finish reflects any light that falls on it. The thick Black Resin body and cap are bulletproof, the white gold (platinum) plate is thick and shiny, no gold wear-off is possible. The pen form factor and size are simply imposing and stunning.

The 149, the pride of Montblanc is mechanically flawless pen, the piston is made out of solid steel components fitted with silicone cork, all parts are anti-corrosive, and the piston takes enormous amount of ink and works perfectly smooth. The pen is perfectly balanced even without a cap, feels right and heavy in the hand, and due to its size and weight, glides over the paper.

The star of the show must be this unique OBB - Oblique Double Broad nib, which these days can be only custom ordered by Montblanc. This is not just another run-of-the-mill EF, F or M nib, it is simply a work of art. It produces some amazing lines, 1-2mm thick and up to very thin when needed while gently twisting the pen in the hand or simply changing the "attack angle" towards the paper while writing. Extremely smooth writing nearly effortless, and on top if it even with some decent flex, simply a true pleasure to write with!
