The perfect entrance pen into the fountain pen world, the original Parker Vector fountain pen paired with its rollerball counterpart. The set offered here is a rare jam, NOS time capsule from the mid 80s, still with its original price tags on the pen's clip. The fountain pen is a perfection in simplicity, simple and practical design, with amazingly great build quality for its then and now price. The nib is M size, very smooth stainless steel, but surprisingly and unusually with a decent flexibility, thus it does not feel stiff. It can write B or even BB if pressed gently while writing. These original first production Parker Vector pens are not the same pen as the new Parker Vector pens/pencils made in China, this is the original thing, made by the UK Parker plant. The pens feel heavy and nice, both due to its combined weight of the refill and the pens as well as the steel sections. They are easy to open and even post, with a distinct nice "click" sound when closing, and the cap will stay securely on. The rollerball pen comes with its original Parker refill, as well as a brand new rollerball refill.
