The Ballograf Epoca pen or also known as Sweden’s pen is a well-known classic not only in Sweden but all around the world. The company was founded in 1945 and the Bic company had owned the brand from 1959 until 2004 when it was returned to Swedish ownership.
The pen is crafted in gold plated metal with beautiful groups of guilloche lines along the length of the barrel and wooden section giving it that gorgeous rustic look.
The clip of the pen is bearing the branding logo of the company. The midsection band of the pen features nice crisp inscriptions that read “Ballograf Epoca” and “Made in Sweder”. The pen is discreetly inscribed with “Textilimpex” company insignia.

The pen uses a responsive and very convenient push-button mechanism which produces a very satisfying click sound. It is fitted with its original proprietary Ballograf metal ballpoint refill which is still writing and probably will for a long time. After it's depleted, it can be replaced with EasyFlow 9000 or Parker Quink Gel refills. The pen features a steel point which prevents wear off even after a long time of usage.
