By Faber-Castell, one of the world's largest and oldest manufacturers of writing instruments comes the vintage Faber Castell TK-Matik automatic pencil with great performance and durability.
The pencil is crafted in thick high grade plastic in green color and stainless steel knurled front section. The knurling is done first vertically and then horizontally with very precise beautiful lines that have sharp looks, this gives the pencil a nice textured grip section which prevents from getting the slippery feel in the hand. The clean cuts are a sign of dedication that the company had in creating good quality writing instruments perfected to the last detail, that level of quality is not something companies will do these days.
The clip has a lined design and it is decorated with the Faber Castell shield. The band that holds the clip has a fine inscription that reads “Germany”.
The metal push button can be taken off and there is an eraser beneath it which is replaceable and easy to take off. Under the eraser the pen has an anti-jamming rod, a sign of true professional drafting pencil from back in the day.

The pen has an automatic feed mechanism which means you would never have to worry about breaking the lead, as you push down and write the pipe grabs more lead and pokes it out. The mechanism works very well and it will keep on writing until the piece of lead the user is using to write with is done.

It takes HB 0,5 mm leads which are strong, durable, and easy to erase, several leads are included with the pencil.
The pencil has a great balance and it feels very comfortable in the hand.
It featuers a very elegant and anatomical shape. The balance point of the pencil is towards the writing end that makes it good for extended writing.
