Condition & information:
Listed here is the Parker 75 Cisele Silver, Mechanical Pencil which is one of the very early editions, very likely made in 1984, but due to the IE code on it, it could also be made in 1988. The body is made out of solid sterling silver 925 and it has a beautiful Grid pattern that later was named Cisele. This beautifully crafted mechanical pencil has an upper-body actuated mechanism. The pen is imprinted with “Parker Sterling 925 France”, including several other imprinted marks. If you look closely you will notice that on the ring of the pencil there is also a silhouette of a head profile which we find very intriguing since it’s a real rarity. The Parker company uses date codes to mark their writing instruments. This pencil, in particular, has an IE date code engraved on it which means that it dates back from the year 1984 or 1988. You can also see a PP sign engraved which represents Parkers, Marker’s Mark and it means that this pencil is made by Parker Pen Company, US, which is also intriguing as this pen is clearly marked as made in France. In addition the is also a "MD" imprint. The sterling silver crosshatch pattern is firmly delineated and gives the pencil a stylish accent. If you unscrew the barrel you can find an eraser that can be pulled out of the slot as it is being used.
The pencil takes 0.5mm leads which can be extended through the push mechanism. The pencil features beautiful gold plated tassie and the clip. The clip is made in the recognizable arrow shape which is Parker’s trademark representing their pioneering attitude, heritage, and rich history. This Mechanical Pen is very well balanced, with a perfect grip and easy to use. It is crafted in the highest quality even by today’s standards. The pencil is in mint condition with minimal signs of use, but no scratches or dings. This pencil embodies everything that the Parker Pen company stands for, which is a perfect design, quality build to last, performance, functionality, and many more factors that contribute for this pencil to be remarkable and timeless. This is an excellent pencil that can be used daily, for drafting or drawing.
