The Rotring Art calligraphy pen represents the perfect admixture of practical design and performance. The pen has a tapered form and it is finished with a white round shape at the top, a form similar to a paintbrush. The black and white combination together with the recognizable red ring emblem of the Rotring company gives the pen a stylish look. The barrel of the pen reads “Rotring” and “ArtPen”.

The pen features a nicely made nib crafted in stainless steel. The nib features fine engravings with the 1.5 mm size of the nib and the name branding of the Rotring company. The pen features a black slip-on cap which is super easy to open and close quickly. The metal clip has “Rotring” and “Made in Germany” engravings.

The pen uses a cartridge filling system and two cartridges are included in the packaging. It can also be used with a converter and probably as an eyedropper, which enlarges the ink capacity. The pen is very easy to clean and maintain since the barrel can easily be unscrewed, the cartridge can be taken out and also the whole nib section can be pulled out and simply cleaned with water. The ergonomically shaped body provides for a comfortable and easy grip. This fountain pen lays down a good wet line and produces good texture. With a downstroke, the pen will produce a thick line and with an upstroke, the pen will produce a thin line. The pen’s lightweight body contributes to a tireless feel in the hand which makes it perfect for long periods of writing.

The pen is new old stock never used before and it is in perfect condition. It comes in its original Rotring minimalistic environment-friendly carton box. The pen also comes with a certificate and instructions by the manufacturer.
