The first release of the revolutionary Balance Lifetime fountain pen was in 1928, this pen contributed to the growth of the Sheaffer reputation as one of the best writing instruments manufacturers in the aspect of technical quality. As a successor of this line followed the release of the new Balance II line in the 1990s which represents the perfect combination of the latest writing technology at the time and the traditional feel that was given to the pens by Craig R. Sheaffer, the renowned Sheaffer ancestor. The Balance II line came in four different marbled acrylic patterns which were: Cobalt Glow, Amber Glow, Crimson Glow, and Jade Green.
Listed here is a beautiful Sheaffer Balance II rollerball pen in a jade green marble pattern.
The pen features a very thick acrylic body, which is made to resemble early celluloid pens. This beautiful acrylic pen is accented with 23K gold electroplated trims.
The white signature Sheaffer dot stands proudly on the upper part of the pen right above the clip. The pen is decorated with two gold plated rings on the cap which give the pen an elegant style. Later Balance II pens, which were made towards the end of the last century in 1999 and 2000 had a single cap bad on the fountain & rollerball pens and a single band on the ballpoint pens which made them easier to decorate.

The pen features a screw on/off cap which posts nicely giving the pen a longer length and balance. This is a rollerball pen that conveniently has the same profile and molded, contoured grip as the Balance II fountain pen but at the same time offers the convenience of using rollerball refills which are long lasting and easy to replace.

The pen has a balanced shape that feels very pleasing to the touch and it represents a true pleasure to write with. An excellent choice for frequent use as it simply glides on any paper offering smooth and easy writing.
The pen uses Sheaffer rollerball refills and we will provide you with the original black ink Sheaffer refill which may be depleted soon but it can be used for future purchase reference.
