This pen is the most extreme example the utter perfection in craftsmanship, precision, quality, and design, it gives an impression as if the whole pen was made with one swift move of the craftsman's hand. 
The pen offered here is the Black Lacquer & Gold rollerball pen, but it can also be used with appropriate ballpoint pen refills. The original refill is included with the pen, as well as a new Schneider rollerball refill.
The Carene rollerball pen is a large pen, nearly oversize. Posted or not posted the pen will stay in the hand firmly and glide over the paper. There's that nice distinct "click" when opening or closing the cap, super precise. All trimmings are 23.3K gold plated; clip, rings, front, and rear tip & crown. The black lacquer finish is thick, protects the pen from scratches and shines.

The pen is in mint near NOS condition with minimal to no signs of use.
