Condition and information:
launched in 2003 this was the 10th generation Pelikan Pelikano Pen. These pens from the 10th generation, as well as the Pelikano pens from the 9th generation, are considered the best Pelikano pens by many pen enthusiasts. The pen features a stunning orange transparent body, similar to a demonstrator pen. The cartridge can be clearly seen inside the pen, and the ink lever can be easily read. This is to date the thickest Pelikano pen, with 12mm diameter at the body, giving it great grip and feel in the hand. The pen can take any standard international ink cartridge or a double size one, as well as standard piston converter. The matte steel cap gives the pen a considerable weight. When posted the cap provides a great balance and makes the pen feel heavy. The Pelikano line was intended by Pelikan as the perfect entrance pen in the fountain pen world. These pens are targeted for student pen, due to it rigidity, built quality and ease of use. However these perform so well that many are using them as their everyday fountain pens. Its very easy to clean and maintain. The nib is L/A grade, semi-hooded, solid steel, hard to damage even if dropped and easy to write with, very smooth on the paper. This is the last generation nib from factor, different from previous models. The tip is F size, but with a ball like shape, which makes the pen easy to write on various angles. It has perfect constant ink flow. Extremely well build Pelikan for everyday use, great build quality, fountain pen for everyday use and a problem-free pen with stunning design. The pen is in absolute mint, never used condition.
