From the famous Parker Duofold line, the pens that put Parker on the map. This beautiful Jade Green Duofold Lucky Curve Fountain Pen Desk Model features an elongated portion on the pen’s top, called the handle, that makes it easy to place in a desk stand. Unlike many desk pens that use to be sold directly with the base and no cap, this one comes with its original cap, thus much rarer pen. The pen is a dark green jade color and gold filled trimmings. The nib is fully flexible, 14K gold nib. This more flexible nib will allow you to produce a fuller version of each impression on the paper with less required pressure, thus producing less hand strain and a pleasurable writing experience. It will write any size from EF extra fine up to 3B triple broad with little to no pressure, the nib just spits appart as soon as it touches the paper, very soft very flexible. The pen’s push button bladder system with new sac installed ensures this popular ink mechanism will offer you the best of all worlds: ease of use, writing effectiveness and convenience. The Jade Green color is the second hue introduced by Parker in 1926 in the “unbreakable Permanite” Duofold (Parker’s commercial name for this DuPont-manufactured plastic). Similar in design to the 1930s Parker Duofold Jade Regular pen, the remaining colors that complete the original quartet of pens include their traditional red color, followed by Lapis Luzuli blue and Mandarin Yellow. Parker’s classic line of Duofolds were revived in the 1980s and again became their main offering, appealing to the masses with their classic design. Pen is in mint condition with minimal signs of use and slight barrel discoloration; but no scratches or cracks, perfectly functional and ready to use.
