Offered here is one of the most beautiful vintage Reform pen sets, the triangular 4383 fountain pen and triangular 605 ballpoint pen, made our of black resin, the signature Montblanc material, which has a high shine and gloss but its also scratch resistant. These are one of the best pens manufactured by Reform. The design and shape of the pen follows the style at the time, a very similar pen to Montblanc Mote Rosa pens, Senator and other pens. Both pens have excellent grip, weight, feel in the hand. The fountain pen at almost 140mm, posted at 165mm, it has a great balance and handling. The nib extraordinary 14K 585 nib, F size, very smooth on the paper with a full flexibility. In such a nib the tines of the nib split apart as soon as it touches the paper, with little to no pressure. This nib changes thickness of the lines with every stroke. Writing with such a nib is a pure joy, as from an F grade (fine) varies to medium lines to very wide double broad BB line and even wider, mimicking all nib sizes, it feel like writing with a paint brush. The set also includes the model 605 triangular ballpoint pen. This is one of the most recognizable Reform ballpoint pens for its ergonomic shape, perfection in simplicity, but with a great appeal. This is a true high-quality vintage ballpoint pen, unlike the new ballpoint pens. The pen is truly remarkable in every sense, everything that a ballpoint should be. It has a perfect grip due to the special grip section, it somehow feels right in the hand. Contributing to this feel is the pen's weight, considerably heavier then most ballpoints due to the solid steel mechanism on the top of the pen as well as the metal refill. Having the steel mechanism on the top of the pen, gives the pen a great balance. This pen features a very special and precise push-button mechanism. This Reform patented push button system features a small "pin-ball" guided mechanism, where a small steel ball is guiding the push knob. This makes for a very precise push button with a distinct "click" sound. Extremely well build pens, meant to last and endure hard work for decades, yet with great appeal. The set it in NOS, New Old Stock, never used condition. The set comes in its original special steel and leather like coating white presentation box. One of the best and great Reform pens.
