The Parker 45 model is one of the best known pens worldwide and one of the most successful models of the Parker Pen company. It was their first cartridge model, one that captured the hearts and souls of the people with a modern design. The pen was intended for the mid class pen market, but soon its popularity caught on so much that Parker started to produce high-end luxurious variations of it. There were dozens upon dozens variants of the Parker 45, made both in UK and USA. This model was the entrance base model sold widely in US and UK, Parker called it the "Student 45 Pen". The version offered here is a more rare color, the Dark Olive Green. The pen can be used with any ink cartridge but also with ink converter. The nib is solid steel, very strong and good for long work with constant thickness line, extremely difficult to damage, thus student trouble free pen. It is great for small letters writing such as in notebooks and even drawing. The pen has a great grip and feel in the hand when posted due to the heavy cap. The pen is very easy to use, it does not dry, it's easy to fill from any bottled ink or with a new cartridge. It is also very easy to clean and maintain, completely disassemblable. The Parker 45, hardly any pen had or ever will surpass the stunning looks, build quality, performance, ease of use and many more factors which make for a remarkable pen.
