The Parker 45 model is one of the best pens ever made by the Parker Pen Company. It was their first cartridge model, one that captured the hearts and souls of the people with a modern design and versatility. The pen was intended for the mid class pen market, but soon it gained a lot of popularity and Parker started to produce high-end luxurious variations of it. This model is a more rare version, very beautiful green to teal color, with a solid steel cap brushed finished and gold plated trimmings. The fountain pen can be used with any ink cartridge but also with the bladder converter, the original one is included with the pen. The nib is smooth, polished stainless steel F fine size, producing constant nice fine line, gliding on the paper. It is a very smooth nib, with good ink-flow. The pen has a great grip and feel in the hand, when posted due to the heavy cap it makes for a smooth writing and feel. The Parker 45, hardly any pen had or ever will surpass the stunning looks, build quality, performance, easy of use and many more factors which make for a remarkable pen. The Parker 45 is arguably one of the most successful pens in the fountain pen history. The pen offered here is in absolute mint condition, no scratches or cracks, perfectly preserved.
