One of the most famous Pelikan pens, the MK10, here in what its considered the first edition with the strait face nib and a thinner ring body. This was one of the first pens to be leak-proof in variable pressure environments, such as high altitude and airplanes, Pelikan marketed this pen as an Airplane Safe fountain pen. The front section has quite elaborate feeding system, thus prevents ink leaks of any sort.
These are one of the most reliable and elegant Pelikan pens ever made. Extremely well build, meant to last and endure hard work for decades.
The body and cap are made out of green and black resin, this material always shines and its also scratch protective. The pen has a great from factor, design which still looks modern decades after it was made.
 
The gold plated steel nib will never bend in accidental drops, or rust; it is soft, very good for long or precise work, even though the tines do not split apart, it feel soft as writing with a spring. The nib is perfect for notebook writing, where small precise typeface is needed, no excess ink as the pen writes constant EF extra fine line.
This is a pen for everyday use that does not require special maintenance and will always work reliably.
Clear see through green ink window, and smooth piston; one of the best piston systems invented by Pelikan, consisting of 8 parts, with a silicone cork which never leaks. Logo located on top of the cap.
The pen has a stunning vintage appeal with green and black color combination.  Slip on cap for fast deployment and ease of use. One of the greatest everyday workhorse Pelikan fountain pens.
