One of the most beautiful Montblanc Monte Rosa pens, the only hexagonal shaped Monte Rosa pen to represent the shape of the signature Montblanc Star. The pen is made out of Precious Black Resin, the signature Montblanc material, which gives the pen a unique shine but also a protection as this material is hard to scratch. The pen features a unique rhomboid shaped ink windows giving the pen stunning looks. Very good light grip and balance, long and slim pen that feels right in the hand. Piston features a double seal silicone cork, fills smoothly and takes a lot of ink. The nib performance is astonishing, rarely good writer, a fully flexible, elongated, long and slim with a very good viewing angle. This is the original 342 elongated nib that Montblanc used on several different models. With little to no pressure will write all bigger sizes as the tines will split apart as soon as it touches the paper, feels like writing with a paint brush. The writing produced with such a nib is exemplary, with line variations from a super thin EF to extra broad depending on the ink and its viscosity. The nib is fed by the original ebonite feed which provides steady and constant ink-flow. The pen is in mint condition with minimal signs of use, no scratches or cracks, perfectly functional. One of the best Montblanc Monte Rosa Pens, a true timeless classic, stunning design and quality, rarely matched by any pen, vintage or new.
