Offered here is one of the rarest Faber Castell vintage models, the RO48 or also known as RO48-B. This model was only produced in limited numbers, and was part of at that time was called "Faber Castell Collectors Collection". The pen is simply stunning, extremely high quality pen, meant to last for generations. Its made out of stainless steel finished with special coatings gives special luster and shine, it is also brushed with long lines along the body. This gives the pen an very unique appeal but also a great grip and feel in the hand. The pen is very heavy, perfectly balanced, posted or even not posted due to its weight. It's very long at 137mm, which is one of the bigger rollerball pens. The cap is a perfect fit, even with a distinct "click" sound when closing it. The RO48 is clearly marked on the cap, next to which is inscribed, W. Germany. The pen is in mint condition with minimal signs of use, but no dings or scratches. The pen comes with its original still usable refill as well as a new high quality ceramic rollerball refill, and ready to be used. This pen can also be used with same size ballpoint pen refill, widely available today. A true and rare time capsule, unique and rare addition to any Faber Castell collection.
