Condition and information:
The classic Senator pen, the Regent 0490 model, the compact and thick pen made to follow the form factor of the 1920s and 1930s fountain pens. This pen is made out of highly reflective, extremely shiny black resin. The pen is in absolute mint, near nos condition, no scratches or any similar issues, perfectly preserved. The nib is extremely good writer, very smooth on the paper, M medium size. The iridium tip which is one of the hardest materials, is almost impossible to ware out, thus a steel pen with iridium tip can preform flawlessly for decades of intensive use. The pen is highly ergonomic following the old style thick pens, but very compact at only 127mm, thus it will fit in any pocket, very good grip and well balanced pen especially when posted. Piston is smooth with a silicone cork which always makes for a perfect fit within the body and will never leak and also takes an enormous amount of ink. The turning knob is capped which makes it impossible to turn uncapped thus preventing incidental leaks.
