Condition and information:
One of the best and most recognizable Caran d'Ache pens, the original Ecridor Model by Caran d'Ache with Chevron pattern, very delicate, made in factory by hand, very crisp complex lines, giving the pen amazing appeal. The Ecridor by CdA is one of the longest produced models in the company's history, and probably in the pen history; running close to 60 years. The pens were first made in the early 60s and are still being made today, hardly changed with the similar design. The pen offered here dates from the late 60s to early 70s. It's a true time capsuse, never used, its been boxed since the day it was made. The pen has its original Ecridor ballpoint Goliath refill which still writes, but we will supply a new one too. The top push button mechanism is very smooth, easy and precise. The inscription is located on the push buttons and the clips "Swiss Made + Caran d'Ache". Made out of alpaca and silver plated, the pen simply shines, difficult to capture in photos. Perfectly balanced writing instrument, heavy and tough, extremely well build, difficult to damage even if dropped, meant to last for generations. There is a company insignia on the side of the pen "Castolin Eutectic", a Swiss company established in 1906 specializing in metallurgy. A timeless writing instruments by the best Swiss pen manufacturer.
