Offered here is a Reform pen set from the pinnacle years of Reform pen manufacturing, the early 1970. The pen is a sub-model from the 4328 pen which featured a solid gold nib, everything else is the same, and in addition it has some improvements in the gold plating and thickness of the cap clip and ring. Both pens are simply stunning, superior and precision build quality made out of thick black resin. These models are some of the most beautiful and one of the most reliable vintage Reform pens. These are one of the best pens manufactured by Reform all time, build on a proven design and mechanical function. The fountain pen is fitted with a super smooth gold plated B broad nib that simply glides on the paper. The tip has a slight radius on it, like a sphere, which makes it easy to write with under various angles and rotation, simply a joy to use and write. A superb Reform piston filler with compact precision build and fitted parts that always fill the pen smoothly to the top each time and with a silicone cork that never leaks. The pen has an unusual feed, which has a slot inside the feed-ring where it can be placed only in one position, this also allows for it to be easily removed together with the nib simply by pulling it out with the fingers. That is super convenient since it can be always easily cleaned and maintained and even to replace the nib fast. The ballpoint pen is unusually heavy, even though there are not many metal parts on it, it does not feel as a light plastic pen, it is rather heavy and long, it is longer than the closed fountain pen. It has very thick resin walls which makes it heavier. The design and shape of the pens follows the 60s style, a very similar pen to Montblanc Mote Rosa pens, Senator and other pens, clearly distinguishable by the form, ink windows, nib and feed. This set is in absolute NOS condition, never used a true time capsule pens. They come in their original Reform presentation box. A truly astonishing vintage Reform fountain and ballpoint pen set, made in Germany by one of the most famous brand at the time.
