Condition and information:
The pen is a successor of the famous Senator Melbi torpedo form factor pen from the 60's. The pen has a unique blue marble pattern body and cap. It features a similar piston filling mechanism to the Pelikan 120 type II pen, developed by Merz and Krell, which is extremely reliable and easy to use with only 2 moving parts. However this piston features two seals making for a better fit. The nib is a smooth EF to F size stainless steel nib, which is a constant, precise and non-messy writer, producing same thickness line, great for long and demanding work. Such nibs are trouble free, perfect for daily use, where one needs not to worry about damage even if dropped. The ink window is elongated, with very clear blue transparent color that will easily indicate the ink level and color. It is reasonably balanced pen, with a classic form factor, feels right in the hand and always performs reliably. The pen is in absolute mint condition, no signs of use, no cracks or scratches. A perfect trouble-free everyday pen.
