This is the first Waterman Hemisphere series, made in the early 1990s. This pen was succeeded by the HII model, which is nearly identical in form factor but has larger trimmings, more similar to the Waterman Expert.
The pen here comes in a special presentation gift box which also includes a set of 5 Waterman gift/ note/ invitation cards with 5 envelopes for each card.
This is a perfect everyday Waterman pen, very easy to use, maintain and clean, trouble-free fountain pens meant to be used daily.
The pen features a modern design with traditional Waterman lines and the famous Waterman clip. This version is a higher-end black lacquer finish, with chromed trimmings, sometimes also referred to as Pt (platinum plated).

The pen has a very good grip and balance due to its considerable weight. The black lacquer finish gives the pen a unique luster.
The pen comes with a very smooth stainless steel nib, M Medium size nib; it is a constant precise writer with constant smooth ink-flow, no mess on the paper. It is ergonomically great, heavy with great grip, balance and feel in the hand.
The pen can use any standard international converter or cartridges, so it's easy to find supplies for and use daily.
