A fantastic Waterman Gentleman fountain and ballpoint pen set from the 90s. The Gentleman pens are large, with simple yet very elegant form, straight and sharp edges. These pens were made in the early 1990s, and the set offered here is approximately from that era.
The pens are very heavy, made out of metal, and with a thick lacquer finish. The lacquer color is deep shiny black and all trimmings are 21K gold plated which together with the thick lacquer create elegant but durable pens. Another nice touch is given to the pens with the flat circular inserts in matching black lacquer which complement the design as a whole.
 
The pens are ergonomically near perfect, heavy and with nice balance and feel in the hand.
The fountain pen features an 18K 750 solid gold nib, which is very smooth on the paper, never used, and it will quickly adapt to the new user's style of writing. It is an F fine size with nice flexibility which is somewhat rare for these era pens. With slight pressure, it will write all bigger sizes up to B broad. It is also a wet nib in order to sustain this flexible writing.
It can use standard cartridges, (we will supply a pack of 6 genuine Waterman cartridges for free), but it can be also used with a converter, hence a very convenient and easy to use and clean pen. It feels very balanced and nice in the hand, especially when posted due to its size and weight.
It features a slip-on cap that posts nicely making the pen nearly 159mm which is oversize by any standards.  
The pencil features a smooth twist on/off mechanism which is very precise and responsive therefore very convenient and easy to use. It uses a slightly larger 0,7mm lead type and several leads are included when you purchase the pencil. The pencil produces neat writing and it’s also suitable for both technical drawing and drafting producing lines of constant width.  
The pens are a great choice for everyday writing sessions and true workhorse pens that will last for generations. A great set with a beautiful classic design and good performance for your daily practices.
 
The pens come in NOS, never used condition, together with their original box with paper and warranty by the manufacturer.
