Made in 1999 for only that year, this pen was part of the line that was launched to celebrate the 75 Years Montblanc Anniversary since its founding. This pen is part of this collection which also included several Meisterstuck models, ranging from 146 to LeGrand models.
The pen features a special captop band, finely engraved "75 Years of Passion" and on the larger models the engraving was "75 Years of Passion and Soul".
All metal parts are gold-filled, thick gold plated, so gold wear off is unlikely. This beautiful design is finished off with a small genuine diamond placed instead of the letter "O".
The pen embodies everything Montblanc stands for, which is a stunning timeless design and amazing performance.
The pen is made out of Precious Black Resin which gives it a gracious shine and gloss but at the same time it is scratch protective and physically protects the pen.  The clip is engraved with micro letters with the individual serial number which gives the owner of the pen the feeling of possessing something truly unique. The black resin and the gold-filled details complement each other perfectly creating a gorgeous elegant pen.

The pen features a thick metal insert/joint in the middle as well as a metal tip, which give the pen the necessary firm solid, and heavy feel for a perfect grip and balance in the hand. It features a very precise slip-on cap for faster deployment, which makes a distinct "click" sound when opening and closing the cap. The cap can be posted giving additional writing balance.
It can be used with a fineliner refill or a rollerball refill as it was originally sold. The original refill is included but it is close to depletion, so it can be used for refill purchase reference.
It comes with its original box and papers, however, there is no opera music CD that was originally included with the pen.
