We are very proud to offer this rare and gorgeous pen, the Aurora Optima 75 Limited Edition. The pen is made out of beautiful cast celluloid in a marble-coral like red color. It is even semi-transparent on stronger light. The pen is made to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the company founding in 1919, and indeed it is a special pen, with amazing highest quality craftsmanship and materials. It has an amazing feel in the hand, heavy both posed or not, a thick pen with a nice thick section which makes for a solid firm grip while writing. It has a very nice and very fine guilloche around the unusually thick cap ring, also engraved with a Greek key as well as the AURORA and the limited edition number which is hand engraved. It is a very smooth piston filler, with a substantial ink reservoir. The feed extrudes inside the piston chamber so there will be always a bit of ink inside the reservoir so the piston never dries out. The ink window is fully transparent so the color of the ink used will be perfectly visible through it. The section, turning knob and cap top are all made out of shiny black resin. The "75" logo is engraved on the top of the clip.

The pen is fitted with a beautiful, very large hand-engraved 18K gold nib which doesn't feel stiff unlike 18K gold nibs usually do, it has some minor flex and it will write bigger sizes, such as B if pressed gently when writing.
This one has a true ebonite feed which will feed that nib without a glitch which is not the case with newer pens.
The pen has a unique feel in the hand, solid handling and grip, while the nib smoothly glides on the paper. Definitely one of the most beautiful and best Aurora pens ever made.

The pen is in mint condition never used, without a scratch. It does not come in its original box as it was sold however, we are including an original Aurora presentation box with it.
