A fantastic Waterman Gentleman fountain pen from the 90s. The pens in the  Gentleman collection are large, with a simple yet very elegant form followed by straight and sharp edges. These pens were made since the early 1990s, and the pen offered here is approximately from that era. The pen is very heavy, made out of metal, and with a thick lacquer finish. The lacquer color is deep and shiny violet-blue, accented with 21K gold plated trimmings. The gold and blue combination creates a beautiful elegant pen. The Waterman company logo stands proudly located on top of the cap. The cap band features nice crisp engravings that read "Waterman" and "Made in France".
 
The pen is ergonomically near perfect, heavy and with nice balance and feel in the hand. It features an 18K 750 solid gold nib, which is very smooth on the paper, never used, and it will quickly adapt to the new user's style of writing. It is an F fine size (imprinted on the back of the feed) with nice flexibility which is somewhat rare for these era pens. With slight pressure, it will write all bigger sizes up to double broad BB broad. It is also a wet nib in order to sustain this flexible writing. It can use standard cartridges, (we will supply a pack of 6 genuine Waterman cartridges for free), but it can be also used with a converter if the user wants to fill the pen directly from an ink bottle. The pen will give you the perfect writing experience as it simply glides on any paper providing for smooth writing with a constant line without skipping.
It feels very well balanced and nice in the hand, especially when posted due to its size and weight. It features a slip-on cap for fast deployment. Posting the cap makes the pen nearly 160mm which is oversize by any standards.
