Offered here is the Cross Ion rollerball pen with a modern futuristic design and great characteristics and performance. The Ion line was introduced in 2001 by the Cross company in Lunar Gray, Neptune Blue, Aurora Blue, Jupiter Orange, Celestial Green, and Corona Red designs. This is one of the bestseller models of the Cross company for years, and later on, when the Sheaffer brand was bought by the company it was rebranded as Sheaffer. 
Pen here is designed in the Jupiter Orange finish which is perfectly complemented with the shiny silver barrel and the gray starry grip section. This whole design and the ellipse shape remind us of some kind of time capsule right out of a sci-fi movie.

The pen slides up open and it features an ellipse opening in the midsection which facilitates the process so the user can place their finger there and open it.
The pen is designed in such a way that the refill can be seen, a feature similar to ink level windows in fountain pens.
