The ATX fountain and rollerball set by Cross represents the perfect balance between clever engineering and elegant design. The pens are crafted in translucent blue lacquer accompanied by chromed sections and details which give the pens a contemporary style. The pens feature nice engravings on the caps and on the clips with the Cross branding name. The engravings on the caps also read “USA”.

The pens feature integrated clips that end in a flat circular form, the insert on the fountain pen is in black and the one on the rollerball is in silver color in order to make it easier for the user to distinguish them when they are together in the box since the form of the pens is identical from the outside.

The fountain pen is fitted with a nice, F size, stainless steel nib. The nib features fine engravings with the size of the nib and the Cross branding name. The pen is a good everyday writer with a precise nib with nice ink flow for a clean and smooth writing experience. It uses a proprietary Cross converter or cartridges, the original piston converter which comes in beautiful orange/ amber color is included.
The rollerball pen uses Cross rollerball refill and the original one in black color comes with the pen, when depleted it can be used for future purchase reference. The refill uses a special gel ink rollerball formula which contributes for a free flow similar to the one of a fountain pen.
The pens feature a well-engineered tapered shape which provides for great balance while writing. The caps of the pens can be posted in order to give them longer length and stability.
The pens come in their original Cross box together with instructions and a lifetime guarantee against mechanical failure by the manufacturer.
