This is without a doubt the most rare and unique Rotring pen, the flagship 600 model, the flagship 600 model with 18K solid gold nib. These pens are close to limited edition as only few thousand were ever made. They were discontinued shortly after being introduced, probably due to the high cost of manufacturing, they were were expensive even when originally sold in 2000-2001. Now are highly valued and sought after, and with a good reason. The pen is simply indestructible. One needs to handle this pen for few seconds and will immediately understand what's this pen is all about and why these pens are in such a demand by everyone who knows Rotring. The pen is perfectly balanced, hexagonal body, very sharp edges, anodized solid thick steel of the highest grade, perfect length, deeply knurled grip section and turning knob, fits and feels perfectly in the hand.
