Inspiration can always be found in nature. This is also the case with the Cross Sauvage line which is inspired by the rare and unique animals with their beautiful and natural patterns. From this Cross Sauvage line comes this beautiful fountain pen which represents the perfect combination of sophisticated, elegant design and performance. Created to please even the most refined feel that women have in aesthetics, this pen follows the silhouette of a pencil skirt. The pen is simply gorgeous, designed to perfection to the last detail. The contoured body of the pen gives it a unique and stylish look.

The pen has a shiny black lacquer barrel and chrome cap with high-quality zebra pattern engraving, with a matching grip section in silver color. The clip and the ring of the cap have fine engravings with the Cross branding name. The cap can be posted in order to give the pen longer length and stability while writing, and the posting of the cap is one of the best we have seen, with a nice and precise posting, since the front section is similar in shape to the grip section.

The pen is fitted with a very nice, fine size, 18K white gold nib in order to match the overall theme of the pen since it is obvious that it was the designer’s idea to create a pure two-tone object. “Cross”, “18K’’, and “750” are finely engraved on the tip of the nib. The nib is a surprisingly good writer, very reliable, and will produce a constant fine line as long as no pressure is applied while writing. The good part about this nib is its semi-flexibility, which is rare for Cross nibs to say the least. This nib will produce wider lines, up to M medium, and even B broad with some pressure while writing.

The pen’s ergonomic design will provide you with the perfect writing experience as the pen simply glides over the paper without the need of applying extra pressure with the hand, making writing feel easy. The pen feels comfortable in the hand and has a quality feel to it. This is a solid pen and its weight and quality engineering contribute to its perfect balance since the pen is significantly heavier than average.

As all Cross pens, this one also uses a proprietary Cross converter or cartridges; the original piston converter which comes in beautiful orange/amber color is included. The pen can also take standard Cross cartridges. Since this is a very simple pen to disassemble, it is very easy and convenient to clean and maintain, by simply removing the front section and/or its nib unit.

The pen comes in its original Cross box together with instructions and a lifetime guarantee against mechanical failure by the manufacturer. The pen comes in a NOS new old stock condition ready to be used by its new owner.
