We are proud to offer, one of the most rare and nearly impossible to find, Montegrappa Tecn@ Limited Editions pens from 2002. This was one of the first Montegrappa Limited Edition pens when the company did not produce many lines as they do today. More often found is the ballpoint pen alone, but rarely the fountain pen and nearly never as a set. The pens were made in 2002 and are limited to 1000 units. The fountain pen is 401/1000 and the ballpoint pen is 115/1000. These must be one of the most unique pens ever made; the bodies are made out of dark grey nearly black - anthracite carbon fiber, while the front sections on both ends and the caps are made out of pure titanium. The feeling these pens give while used, the sounds they make while opening and closing the threaded caps is difficult to describe; simply a masterful work in craftsmanship and engineering, made with one purpose, simply to astonish. The caps close the fountain pen/nib and the ball point pen tip, and both pens feature a permanent data tip on the other side. The data tip is permanent and does not require replacement, it is deployed by twist on/off action. The fountain pen has amazing nib, smooth M size with decent flexibility and will write bigger sizes. It can be used with cartridges or a converter. Needless to say its handling and feel in the hand are incomparable to other pens; both the mid carbon section and its front and back section made out of titanium, give the feel of both light and strong feel in the hand at the same time. The caps close with a very short thread, and are posted by screwing them over the data tips, so the pens have the true feel when the caps are posted/screwed on the top. Both pens are in great condition with minimal signs of use. There is no scratching, rather a bit of blemish on the side of the caps, but this is the true titanium look as the pens will gain this look naturally over the course of use, it even marks the pens look more real and in their natural materials. No dings or scratches of any kind. They come in a original Montegrappa presentation box, it is not the original box from these pens, but its from the same era, made around 2000.
