This is the famous Pelikan Pen designed by Luigi Colani pen, No.1, the first Pelikan pen commissioned to be designed by a famous designer. Wikipedia has this to say about Mr. Colani: "The prime characteristic of his designs are the rounded, organic forms, which he terms "bio-dynamic" and claims are ergonomically superior to traditional designs." Mr. Colani designed number of cars and other everyday objects. He is considered one of the most influential designers of the 20th century, designing BMW's, Ferrari's and many other objects. The pen has ergonomically curved shape that fits perfectly in to the hand. This particular pen is all black with crisps imprints and stunning looks in matte black finish. It has a triangular shaped lower body, this makes the pen stand upright when placed on the table. The mechanism is very nice to use, responsive with distinct "click" sound when closing the pen. The pen is in mint condition. It comes fitted with its original never used giant Pelikan 337 refill, which gives the pen additional weight and better writing balance. The refill will last for approximately 6 miles/10mk line or approx. 500 pages of Letterhead/A4.
