Made in Japan, Newman is a less known Japanese brand, not to be confused with the famous Newman USA brand. This pen is amazing build quality meant to last for generations, solid steel base and very shiny chromed finished. The mechanism is spring loaded, perfectly functional and smooth. Refills are loaded from the front tip. The pen comes with its original 4 color refills, but a set of new 4 color Schneider refills will be included. The pen is finished with long guilloche lines. This is a relatively heavy pen since it's made entirely out of metal, giving it the necessary good grip and feel in the hand. This is heavy duty pen, meant to bring along on the field, it's very tough build made to take any punishment and endure work for decades. The pen is in NOS, new old stock, never used condition.
