The Parker Arrow was launched only few years after the introduction of the rollerball pen, and was Parker attempt to build a popular fountain pen for everyone. This was the third generation Flighter pen, and was all-metal pen. It features a clean straight cap with no cap rings and a newly designed clip which had the appearance of a chiselled-out arrow with three facets. It had no feathers on the clip, a much cleaner and modern design, fabricated to allow easy engraving on the clip. The solid stainless steel is matte brushed finish features elegant accents in gold plating on its clip, cap top and trim ring. The pen’s sleek, contemporary design is aesthetically pleasing in its simplicity, and its timeless look and extremely durable construction will ensure that it remains a favorite pen for decades to come. The pen comes in its original box, along with a warranty card. This was one of the last Parker pens to offer a lifetime warranty, after this pen, most Parker pens were offered with 2 years warranty. Grip section features an attractive black textured area that is comfortable in hand, even when using for prolonged periods of time. Pen is very heavy with a great grip and feel in the hand. Whether your preference is to write with the cap on or with it removed, the pen is designed to remain delightfully balanced either way. This pen is quite easy to disassemble and clean, and is also very easy to use. It will not easily show smudges or fingerprints, due to the high-quality premium matte finish. It is nearly indestructible; difficult to damage. The beautiful nib design made in the unique circular shape is extending seamlessly from the front section. This nib manages to blend very well with the overall pen design, incorporating the overall sleek look and feel of the pen from the cap all the way to the nib’s end. The nib is steel gold plated, size F fine. This size is ideal for everyday use and works great for jotting quick informal notes in your notepad, calendar, etc. Pen is a super smooth writer with no skipping. It has great ink-flow resulting from its big ink feed. The pen comes with its original bladder converter; however it can be used with standard Parker cartridges when the converter is removed.
