Condition and information:
The Montblanc No.32 is probably the most popular and widely sold Montblanc pen of the 60s. It is the only Montblanc pen we know of that has 3 distinctly different nib forms, but which all bare the same model number, 32. The pen offered here had the most popular and the first original nib form, the semi hooded nib, same as on the models 12, 22, 14, 24 and all of their sub-variants. The second one is a section embedded nib, with the face of the nib exposed, and the third model is the fully exposed classic fountain pen model. There is also a 32 model with cartridges.

These 60s pens were launched to replace the older 3xx and 2xx series and were completely new approach by Montblanc, both technologically with new materials and complete mechanical solutions and redesign compared to its predecessors. Even though 3rd in the Montblanc class, this pen is made out of the same materials the 2s and 1s are, same quality black resin as well as gold plated trimmings, and same level of master craftsmanship and precision. The pen is nothing short of its bigger brothers. The cap is a classic thread-on over a removable ring at the section-body joint, it is easy and convenient to use. The pen is a standard Montblanc piston filler with a precise mechanism and a silicone cork. The nib is semi-hooded F size rated, however it looks and performs more to the EF size. Since the pen hasn't been used, it will adapt to the new owner style fast and it will perform beautifully. The nib is solid 14k gold, and it has some small flex to it, it will write larger sizes if pressed gently while writing. The pen is well balanced and it fits nicely in the hand, especially posted. The Black Resin with its mirror like finish shines and it's difficult to scratch, it looks as the pen was made just recently rather than many decades ago. Very conveniently, the pen is super easy to disassemble simply by unscrewing the section, which gives access to the entire piston shaft/barrel and the entire front section and its nib unit, convenient to clean and maintain the pen. 

The fountain pen is accompanied by the No. 36 Pix Mechanical pencil. Interestingly enough this 36 Pix shares the exact same mechanism as the No. 16 Pix Masterpiece as well as the later No. 360 mechanical pencils, thus not in a bit a lower class pencil as Montblanc would indicate. These are all virtually identical on the inside, the pencils are even the same size on the outside, even though they look as different models, they are all 132mm long! This would indicate that there simply had to be different price class pens/pencils to appeal to various budges, even though the were virtually the same quality. The entire inside of the pencil is made out of metal. It is a very precise push button, with precise lead deployment. It its heavy due to its metal mechanism, and it feels solid and nice in the hand. It comes with several leads included and its ready to be used.

The set comes in the best condition it possibly can, a NOS new old stock never used, time capsule, perfectly preserved in its original box, papers and even a carton box with the store stamps on it as to what's inside it, 032 F and 36.
