Listed here is a beautiful and compact vintage Elite Owner fountain pen by the renowned Pilot pen company which is the largest writing instruments manufacturer in Japan with its headquarters in Tokyo. The pen is crafted in high-quality shiny bakelite resin plastic which not only gives great appeal to the pen but it also protects it physically since it is more crack and scratch-resistant than other materials. The gold plated trimmings give the pen a more elegant look and complement the design as a whole. The clip features a nice crisp engraving that reads “Owner” and the extra-long cap features an inscription that reads “Elite”.

The pen features an inspiring clip which instead of bending it retracts when being pulled this makes it very flexible and more resistant to breaking and it can be put over any thicker material of a pocket or a notebook cover.
Its compact physique makes it a great pen for traveling and you can use it every day everywhere you are fitting in any pocket of a jacket. This is a great feature because you get to have a pen that is suitable to be carried around and can fit almost anywhere weighing only 15gr. but at the same time when the cap is posted, it gives the pen a full length of an oversized fountain pen.

The pen is fitted with a solid stainless steel F Fine clear face nib with no adornment. The nib is a good writer, very reliable, producing a constant fine line. Even though the nib is made out of steel it feels smooth and not stiff as opposed to other steel nibs.
The pen’s good build quality and materials contribute for the perfect writing experience as the pen simply glides over the paper, making writing feel easy. The pen feels comfortable in the hand and has a quality feel to it.
The lightweight construction contributes for tireless long writing sessions without hand fatigue.
It can be used with cartridges or a converter. The original Pilot press converter is included enabling easy filling directly from an ink bottle. The converter is very convenient and easy to use and although it looks like the pen is small it actually fits a normal-sized Pilot converter that goes deep into the section and can carry a substantial amount of ink for long writing sessions without worries.
