The Crown Jewel among the early Pelikan ballpoint pens, the Silvexa 555 model. This pen was launched together with the famous P1 fountain pen as its companion, and it still remains one of the most sought after early Pelikan ballpoint pens. It is based on the famous Pelikan 350 and 450 mechanical pencils launched few years earlier. The pen is still striking today, with its shiny lower section made out of black resin, the matter finished upper body with its shiny chrome clip and the unusually large chrome crown. The pen is thick, feels nice in the hand, it is simply a timeless writing instrument. The Silvexa pens are renowned for their reliability and build quality. The Silvexa line together with the rolled gold lines were the high-end flagship pens of all M, MK and P series Pelikan pens. The push button functions flawlessly and easy.
