Condition and information:
One of the best and rarest of the Parker 45 line, an entirely rolled gold pen, made in England. This 45 model was the flagship 45 pen high-end luxurious version made only in very low quantities. Even at the time, it costed 10x as the standard 45 models. The pen is in excellent mint condition, minimal to no sings of use, no cracks or scratches. The pen comes with it original bladder "aerometric" converter, but it can also be used with any ink cartridge. The pen features a soft nib with some flexibility. The nib is marked as M, medium, but it performs as B broad and even BB double broad. It's extremely smooth writing pen, and will produce wider and even thinner lines depending on the angle its held. The build quality is amazing. Unlike gold plate, the rolled gold never wares out. This is virtually a thick leaf of gold applied over the base, which usually steel or bras. This metal body gives the pen a considerable weight, together with the steel converter inside the pen, make a very heavy pen. This 45 unlike the more light plastic models feels perfectly balanced, heavy, with a great grip and feel in the hand, posted or not. The Parker 45 unique form factor, hardly any pen had or ever will surpass the stunning looks, build quality, performance, easy of use and many more factors which make for a remarkable pen.
