This Sheaffer 330 is a rare fountain pen made in USA. It is a perfectly sized pen at 130 mm when closed and 145 posted. Its a fairly light pen, 10 grams without cap and 16 grams with cap posted, but still feels well balanced and right in the hand. The Sheaffer's pen are possibly the best thickness pens, they simply feel right in the hand. The nib is the unique embodied nib with unique shape, AKA a diamond-shaped inlaid nib, here in a stainless steel, providing an amazing viewing space while writing, any writing angle for a wide variety of users. The nib is smooth, precise and with a constant F line, great for quick notes or writing where no excessive ink-flow and clean writing is desired. The metal fittings on pen are chrome-plated. The cap itself is held in place by friction, helped by three little metal dots that extend very slightly from the body between where the section and the barrel meet, so it can be deployed in an instant. It comes with its original bladder converter, very easy to use and fill and with a pretty good ink capacity, but it can also take standard Shaffer's cartridges. Perfect mint condition, near NOS, new old stock. Simple, trouble-free everyday pen.
