This is the Reform 1745 in a special edition, a fully black version with a monotone gold plated EF nib. The Reform 1745 pen was one of the most popular pens in Germany in the 1970s and 1980s, as Reform was few decades ago one of the biggest pen manufacturer in Germany, they produced millions of pen per year, both for foreign and domestic market. The 1745 basic model is green and black, but it also had few model variations, among which, entirely black such as this one, burgundy red, pearl white, red-white and all green. 
This pen features a soft gold plated steel nib, a truly remarkable pen to write with; smooth on the paper producing some wonderful writing from precise EF to F size. It has a high gloss high grade plastic resin body and cap, and its from factor makes it look and feel sleek.
Beautiful clear see through blue ink window. Piston is smooth with a silicone cork which always makes for a perfect fit within the body and will never leak. Great form factor, great feel in the hand, slim but well balanced pen, posted or not.
The pen is in absolute mint, near NOS condition perfectly perserved and ready to be used. (It comes without the sticker)
