This is a pen made by a Italian company Borghini. The company was founded in 1953 and make fine writing instruments with attention to detail, design and high quality. The pen offered here is their flagship ballpoint pen model, the V1 with gold plated trimmings. The pen is entirely made out of thick solid 925 silver. It has a considerable weight and thus great balance and handling. It features a precise twist on/off mechanism. Very elegant, clean shape, where form follows function. The pen features a stunning, classic torpedo shaped design, very ergonomic and practical to use. Its is a very oversize pen at full 145mm, making it feel heavy and right in the hand. The pen is in absolute mint NOS new old stock condition. Great pen with superb design and quality as only an Italian company can make.
