Condition and information:
We are proud to offer this rare jam, a pen from a long lost German pen manufacturers, the Adlatus Pen Company. The company existed for only few years, and unfortunately not many pens are left today so its barely known brand. They made few models, well known at the time, and the quality of work was nothing short of the well known competitors at the time such as Kaweco, Montblanc, Pelikan and other. The pen here was made in the mid to early to mid 50s, and in a pure torpedo form factor, unlike its competitors who at this time made more "squared" pen forms.

The rarest feature of this unique pen is the nib. It is called FS standing for Fine Steno, which is a thick but soft nib, which could be used to make carbon copies. Usually Steno nibs can be very stiff, but not this one, it has some decent flex and it can write larger sizes with a gentle push, to Medium and even Broad. The body of the pen is made out of hard rubber, very nice material which feels natural in the hand, and the top of the cap and turning knob are made out of ebonite, same as the feed. The piston operates flawlessly, super smoothly and takes good amount of ink. The original cork has been replaced with a two new O-ring rubber seals which will last for decades. The piston spiral is solid metal. The pen also features an red amber long ink window, which is nearly identical to the 50's 142 & 144 Montblanc pens. The pen is in absolute mint condition, nearly impossible to find in such, perfectly preserved with no cracks or scratches, perfectly functional and ready to be used. Extremely well built pen, truly rare specimen and beautiful design, worth any collection and a true joy for daily use!
