It's our honor to offer the best-selling and probably one of the best safety fountain pens ever made. It is hard to believe that such a model was conceived in the late '50s and launched in the early '60s. Many variations of the model were introduced since then and offered here is a Namiki CL300 ED-27 made in 1995. This model was introduced before the current Pilot Vanishing Point one with metal body. This is a branded model featuring a faceted body crafted in precious black resin and thick metal parts. The resin is perfectly shiny and durable, as it has better properties than simple plastic, it's much more difficult to scratch or crack.
The pen looks as a high-tech writing instrument of today, with looks and feel of the 21st century, everything a true lover of fountain pens can dream of and more.

This is a pen with impeccable design following a streamlined, space era inspired shape. Another unique feature of this pen is the seamlessly incorporated clip in the front section, unlike other newer models that don’t have this feature anymore. The clip features a nice crisp engraving with the Pilot company branding name.

This is a simple yet beautiful trouble-free, fountain pen with a unique function and design, unlike any other pen. As the name says itself this is a capless fountain pen featuring a unique patent, with a mechanism similar to a ballpoint pen, however instead of a refill, the push action reveals a real 14K nib. When the pen is deactivated by pressing the top push knob, the nib retracts into the barrel, where a special mechanism cap-door inside the pen's tip covers the nib and seals off the barrel. This convenient feature prevents ink drying, dust from entering the pen, and of course, it prevents the nib tip from getting damaged. This mechanism is a great engineering achievement, very convenient, perfectly functional, smooth, and precise.

The pen is fitted with an F fine solid 14K gold nib which is smooth on the paper. It is also very sharp and precise creating beautiful writing, no excessive ink flow, and no mess. It will provide you with the perfect smooth writing experience simply gliding on any paper.
The nib features nice crisp engravings with "14K 585", “Pilot”, “F” and “A195” where the first letter stands for the factory in which this pen was made, the second number stands for the month and the last two numbers represent the year. Meaning that this pen was made as a production line at the Hiratsuka factory in January 1995.
The pen can be used with Pilot cartridges or with a squeeze sac converter if the user wants to fill the pen directly from an ink bottle. The original cartridge which can be refilled with a syringe is included with the pen.
The pen has a great grip, unique feel, and balance, this contributes to a good feel in the hand offering a wonderful writing experience.
