This pen represents the start new Montblanc era, models launched in the early 70's, which were build to replace the 22/24/32/34 models. These pens were suppose to replace the tread, i.e. employ the slip on cap for fast deployment and build up on the superb performance on the previous models. Made in the early 70's, this is a rare sub model version of the 220/221 and Classic models. The pen is simply stunning, plated with one of the most precious materials in jewelry making, rhodium which has incredible performance, shines like a crystal. The pen has extraordinary build quality, the rhodium always shine like new and reflects any light that falls on it. The Godron lines are deep, forming something of a triangles, so they simply reflect under any angle. These pens are some of the most reliable Montblanc pens ever build, easy to use and handle, with no moving parts and great feel and balance due to the heavy weight. This model is the flagship luxurious version of the time. These are so well build, they are nearly impossible to damage, they are considered a true generational pens, meant to last.
