One of the rarest and best Reform sets we ever offered for sale, a unique set in a unique rarely seen thick but soft genuine leather pouch in matching red color and a vintage classic green genuine leather interior. The set contains the famous triangular Reform fountain pen 4383 and the triangular ballpoint pen 605. This Reform fountain pen is one of best designed and one of the most reliable vintage pens from this period. It is constructed with highest Reform technology at the time, to rival and even surpass any major European brand. We love to say that these Reform pens truly embody everything a pen should stand for, and we stay behind that statement. Both pens have glossy and smooth bodies, made from plastic resin, which unlike unprocessed plastic, always luster and shine, it is also difficult to scratch, so the they don't show micro-scratches over time. All trimmings are thick gold plate that wont ware off. The most amazing part of the fountain pen is the super flexible nib, made out of 14k solid gold it simply flexes on every stroke with no effort. It will write everything from F, to 3B with ease and the ebonite feed can feed it. Its a wet writer that needs some getting used to, but once there, it will be one of your favorite writers. Needless to say, both pens feature a unique classic design, great ergonomics and balance, so the writing is smooth, effortless and does not tire the hand. Piston takes good amount of ink and can be used for a long time once its filled. Silicone cork ensures no ink leakage. There are number of transparent ink windows around the barrel, that will clearly represent the ink level.

This ballpoint has a high quality build as well. It has a good grip and ideal balance. It features a heavy brass mechanism near the top, under the push button, which provides for the perfect balance of the pen. This push button mechanism is unique, with brass components and a steel guiding ball. Only Kaweco and Reform made this ballpoint system at the time.

This set comes in a very attractive matching red pouch, with both interior and exterior in genuine leather. The case is amazing, one rarely seen, simply stunning. It also features a steel frame, so even soft on the outside, the steel frame keeps the pens safe.

Both of the pens are NOS, new old stock condition, never used, still with body stickers.
