Condition and information:

The pen offered here is highest quality Kaweco pen, with a very ergonomic classic body, it has great grip, handling, balance and feel in the hand. The Transparent series was one of the best Kaweco pens at the time. In the 1920-1930s, this line was called the "Helios" line. Only after the 1950's the line got renamed to Transparent, and with the Dia and the Elite was the top of the Kaweco lines. The pen is crafted in high-grade plastic and gold plated trimmings which offer physical protection of the pen. The gold and black combination create a timeless elegant pen with great appeal.
 
The pen is fitted with a solid 14K gold, very sharp F nib (close to EF) which as many Kaweco nibs it's fully flexible, so it will write all sizes up to BB double broad. It is very smooth on the paper, with no scratching, and depending on the applied pressure it will write wide lines on the down and side strokes. This nib will produce one of the best writing one can hope to achieve with a fountain pen. The pen features a clear blue ink window which is a great future since the owner can always know how much ink is left. The piston works very smoothly. The pen is quite efficient, practical, well balanced, with an astonishing nib, and very reliable and easy to handle all wrapped in classic design.
 
The pen is in mint condition with no cosmetic or functional defects whatsoever, 100% originally preserved.
