One of the most beautiful Pelikan MK line pens, the 30 Rolled Gold pen with rolled gold trimmings. Stunning pen with extraordinary build quality crafted in black resin, this material always shines and it's also scratch protective. This pen has one of the best forms that the MK line Pelikan has. 
The cap ring features nice crisp engravings that read “Pelikan Rolled Gold” and “Germany”. The logo of the Pelikan company stands proudly on the top of the cap inlaid with gold.

The cap does not have a breathing hole, thus when closed the nib is airtight. These are one of the most reliable and elegant Pelikan pens, extremely well built, meant to last and endure hard work for generations.
The pen is fitted with its original 14K 585 gold nib, in EF extra fine size. The nib feels very smooth on the paper for a superb writing experience with a special touch. Unlike many of the Pelikan nibs from the MK family, this nib is nearly fully flexible. A true joy to use and write with and enjoy that line variation on every stroke.

The piston filling system is very easy, convenient and simple to use and clean. This piston mechanism was marketed by Pelikan as Airplane safe, due to its complexity and airtight design. The pen features a beautiful clear see-through purple ink window for ink level indication. The pen has a great form factor which contributes for perfect balance and feel in the hand while writing.
