Condition and information:

One of the most recognizable and most sold Montblanc pens of the late 60s and 70s, the Montblanc 320 and its many variations. The 320 has at least 3 sections and nib types forms we know of, this is one of them. These are the pens that together with the 1X/2X had replaced the 50s Montblanc pens, and were made in more modern form factor with sharp edges as opposed to the earlier torpedo-shaped forms. The pen offered here is made out of highly processed plastic resin with gold plated trimmings. 

The fountain pen is a piston filler with the later introduced yellow band. It is a slip on-off cap for fast and easy deployment. The nib on the fountain pen is a smooth and precise EF extra fine size with some softness. It is a solid 14K 585 gold. The pen has a perfectly functional piston mechanism, with its original silicone cork. It is super easy to disassemble and clean completely as the entire front section simply screws right out. The 320 pen, even though 3rd in the Montblanc class at the time, is one of high quality, appeal and performance Montblanc pen from the golden age of the fountain pens.
