The Ballograf Epoca pen or also known as Sweden’s pen is a well-known classic not only in Sweden but all around the world. The company was founded in 1945 and the Bic company had owned the brand from 1959 until 2004 when it was returned to Swedish ownership.
The pens are crafted in chrome-plated metal with beautiful groups of guilloche lines along the length of the barrel and high-grade plastic in vibrant green color. Both clips of the pens are bearing the branding logo of the company. The midsection bands of the pens feature nice crisp inscriptions that read “Ballograf Epoca” and “Made in Sweden”. The pens are inscribed with “Textilimpex Poland” company insignia.

The ballpoint pen uses a responsive and very convenient push-button mechanism which produces a very satisfying click sound. It is fitted with its original proprietary Ballograf metal ballpoint refill which is still writing and probably will for a long time. After its depletion, it can be replaced with EasyFlow 9000 or Parker Quink Gel refills. The pen features a steel point which prevents wear off even after a long time of usage.

The mechanical pencil uses 0.5mm leads which can be extracted through the push-button mechanism. Several leads are included so the pencil can be ready to be used right away. The pencil features an eraser which is located under the push-button cap. It produces precise lines, perfect for all your drafting and drawing daily practices.
