First introduced in 1946, the Classic Century sleek silhouette comes as a reminder even today of the mid-century modern design. Pen listed here is part of the Classic Century line and it has all the characteristics that the line is distinctive for which are simplicity, quality materials, and elegance. It is crafted in a thick 12K gold-filled finish over a solid steel base and as opposed to gold plate the gold wear off on the gold-filled pens is unlikely to happen.
The pen’s simple yet powerful form ends in a classic Cross conical-top profile with a gold insert at the top. It features a subtle incised guilloche line design which gives the pen an even more refined look. The branding name of the company is seamlessly incorporated on the clip.

The top part features nice crisp engravings that read “Cross”, “1/20 12K Gold filled” and “Made in USA”. The 1/20 stands for the gold which means that the pencil is at least 1/20th gold by weight.
Due to the reflection and shine of the pen, it is hard to depict its true high gloss in photos. The pen is retractable and uses a very responsive twist mechanism which is convenient and easy to use.

The pen uses Cross ballpoint pen refills and we will provide you with an original one in black color so the pen can be used right away.
